Some Terrific Gran Torino FYC Ads

I have a major hunch that Clint Eastwood will end up with a Best Actor nomination for Gran Torino. He's not one of the frontrunners right now -- those would be Penn, Rourke, Langella, Pitt -- and a lot of people are hoping that Leonardo DiCaprio or Richard Jenkins (from The Visitor) sneaks in.

But here's the thing: he's Clint Eastwood. No, wait, let me put it another way: he's Clint Eastwood.

Scoring the best opening weekend of his career -- a stunning 30 million bucks for a movie about an elderly jerk and his Hmong immigrant neighbors -- can't hurt either.
